Job summary

IOT Manufacturing is seeking a QA Engineer to champion SMT and Manual Insertion (MI) quality standards, coordinating with SMT Engineering and Production to resolve line-related quality matters and customer non-conformances.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering and 4–5 years of QA/QC experience in SMT PCBA and Top-Level Assembly, with strong knowledge of ESD controls, processes, and 8D problem-solving; competitive pay, medical coverage, and career advancement

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 4 to 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience specifically within SMT PCBA and Top-Level Assembly manufacturing environments
• Strong background in Quality/Process Controls, SMT process flow, MI assembly, and ESD Controls
• Proven mastery of 8D problem-solving methodologies and internal process auditing
• Strong analytical capabilities interfacing between production, engineering, and external customers

As a QA Engineer at IOT Manufacturing, you will champion Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Manual Insertion (MI) quality standards. You will work closely with SMT Engineering and Production teams to coordinate, monitor, and resolve all line-related quality matters, serving as the key quality focal point for internal line yield issues and customer-highlighted non-conformances.

Key responsibilities

Drive SMT & MI Quality by working closely with SMT Engineering and Production teams to coordinate, monitor, and resolve all line-related quality matters

Manage Customer & Internal Issues by acting as the key quality focal point to address internal line yield issues and customer-highlighted non-conformances swiftly

Lead structured 8D problem-solving initiatives, corrective action implementations (CAPA), and failure investigations to prevent issue recurrence

Conduct internal process audits and maintain strict compliance with ESD controls, quality systems, and manufacturing procedures

About you

Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

4 to 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience specifically within SMT PCBA and Top-Level Assembly manufacturing environments

Strong background in Quality/Process Controls, SMT process flow, MI assembly, and ESD Controls

Proven mastery of 8D problem-solving methodologies and internal process auditing

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interface effectively between production teams, engineering, and external customers
