Job summary

IOT Manufacturing is seeking a QA Engineer to champion SMT and Manual Insertion (MI) quality standards, coordinating with SMT Engineering and Production to resolve line-related quality matters and customer non-conformances.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering and 4–5 years of QA/QC experience in SMT PCBA and Top-Level Assembly, with strong knowledge of ESD controls, processes, and 8D problem-solving; competitive pay, medical coverage, and career advancement

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 4 to 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience specifically within SMT PCBA and Top-Level Assembly manufacturing environments
• Strong background in Quality/Process Controls, SMT process flow, MI assembly, and ESD Controls
• Proven mastery of 8D problem-solving methodologies and internal process auditing
• Strong analytical capabilities interfacing between production, engineering, and external customers

Responsibilities

• Champion SMT & MI Quality by coordinating with SMT Engineering and Production teams to resolve line-related quality matters
• Act as the key quality focal point to address internal line yield issues and customer-highlighted non-conformances swiftly
• Lead structured 8D problem-solving initiatives, corrective action implementations (CAPA), and failure investigations
• Conduct internal process audits and maintain strict compliance with ESD controls, quality systems, and manufacturing procedures
