Chuen Cheong Food Industries (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Assistant to perform quality assurance and quality control in a food manufacturing environment. You will conduct pre-production checks, manage daily laboratory operations, monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems.

Responsibilities include COA preparation, daily pH meter calibration and on-line WIP visual checks.

Competenze

• Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality control, GMP and food safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

The QA Assistant role involves quality assurance and quality control activities in a food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for conducting pre-production checks, managing daily laboratory operations, monitoring product quality, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality management systems.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for COA preparation

Manage daily pH meter calibration

Conduct on-line WIP visual, sensory and checking

Responsible for incoming raw materials checking (soya bean absorbability test, physical test, etc)

Prepare lab samples for external lab testing

Responsible for retention sample storage and practice 5S from time to time

Conduct pre-production checks, including line clearance, equipment cleanliness, allergen verification, packaging material verification and label/expiry date printing verification

Monitor finished product quality and packaging conditions during production and filling operations

Maintain and update QC/QA records, including in-process inspection reports, production record, non-conformance reports and other relevant documents

About you

Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science or other equivalent/higher

Basic knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality control, GMP and food safety requirements

Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with production and other departments

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
