Job summary

ESCATEC Group in Penang is seeking a Supply Chain Officer - Purchasing to coordinate procurement, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery while controlling costs across the supply chain.

You will issue purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, optimize stock levels, and collaborate with production planning, QC, and logistics. A Bachelor's degree and experience in manufacturing procurement and ERP systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Experience in inventory management and procurement.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in contract manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase of materials based on ERP requirements.
• Analyze stock replenishment impact on material planning.
• Issue and update Purchase Orders and confirmations.
• Monitor delivery confirmations and expedite orders.
• Coordinate with vendors for replacements and rejects.
• Update costing for customer consigns parts and production data.
• Interface with customers and internal teams on data updates.
