Job summary

ESCATEC Electronics Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to manage new project terms, supply localization, and BOM accuracy. The role collaborates with procurement engineers on supplier proposals and participates in supplier qualification for new projects.

You will set up new suppliers for projects, allocate supply based on cost, availability, and quality, and negotiate contracts with vendors while coordinating with the commodity team on the supply portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in procurement/purchasing function in a Contract Manufacturing or related industry.
• Knowledge in the related commodity (packaging, chemical, resin or cable harness) supply market and sources.
• Possess commercial negotiation skill is preferred.
• Bachelore2s degree in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate new project commercial term according to target.
• Supply localization for more competitive cost.
• New Project BOM Management: verify supply parts7 information and ensure correct parts in system.
• Contract Management: Negotiate commercial contract for new vendors engaged with new project.
• Collaborate with commodity team on supply portfolio and liaise on suppliersa0pool list.
