Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing, vendor deliveries, and ISO 14001 environmental compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will handle POs, AVL maintenance, price comparisons for indirect materials, and cross-department procurement requests, while ensuring LMW customs compliance and waste segregation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of LMW procedures, customs declarations, and duty exemptions.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and Scheduled Waste Management regulations.
• Strong negotiation, tracking, and analytical skills.

• Procurement & Planning: Issue POs based on material planning, expedite vendor deliveries, and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Cost & Coordination: Perform price comparisons for indirect materials and coordinate cross-department procurement requests.
• LMW & Customs Compliance: Audit courier import Declaration Forms against LMW Exemption approvals prior to endorsement.
• Green Procurement & Waste: Source eco-friendly materials, enforce environmental conformance labeling, and oversee scheduled waste segregation/disposal.
