Job summary

JINJING TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a procurement professional to manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring for construction materials.

The role ensures right source, quality, quantity, delivery, and price in line with company policies. The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in construction materials, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate with Mainland China clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring on construction materials.
• Ensure purchases meet quality, quantity, delivery, and price requirements.
• Analyze material market dynamics and price trends to manage price risk per company policies.
• Maintain good communication with vendors and drive continuous improvement in supplier management.
• Monitor supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and performance.
• Support inventory management to ensure high delivery capacity with minimal inventory.
• Conduct supplier audits and on-site surveys with department head.
• Address quality issues, product replacements, and sample requests with suppliers.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and records in proper order.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring on construction material.

To ensure all the purchases in right source, quality, quantity, delivery and price.

Analyzes material market dynamics/trends and price environment in order to manage price risk in accordance with company policies.

Maintain and possess good communication with vendor and continuous improvement for the vendor management.

Supplier performance monitoring- ensuring on time delivery (OTD).

Support inventory management in order to ensure a high delivery capacity with a minimum of inventory.

Performance supplier audit and on-site survey with department head.

Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request.

Ensure proper maintenance of purchasing documentation and records.

Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in construction materials.

Good negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and business partners in Mainland China.
