Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1–3 years experience in procurement, sourcing, merchandising, or project coordination.
• Experience with festive merchandise or corporate gifts is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with China suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying suppliers for festive merchandise, gifts, and packaging.
• Requesting quotations, samples, and product specifications from suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts.
• Coordinate product development, artwork, packaging, and sample approvals.

Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating festive merchandise, gifts, packaging materials, and promotional items to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards for seasonal campaigns and business requirements.

Overview

Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating festive merchandise, gifts, packaging materials, and promotional items to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards for seasonal campaigns and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Procurement

• Source and identify suitable suppliers for festive merchandise, gifts, decorations, packaging materials, premiums, and promotional items.
• Request and evaluate quotations, samples, and product specifications from suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, responsiveness, and delivery performance.
• Explore alternative sourcing options to improve product offerings and competitiveness.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Design, and Operations teams to understand campaign requirements.
• Coordinate product development, artwork submission, packaging requirements, and sample approvals.
• Monitor project timelines to ensure merchandise is delivered according to campaign schedules.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination

• Track production progress and shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth receiving and distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment when necessary.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier comparisons, and purchasing summaries.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Marketing, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, merchandising, or project coordination.
• Experience in festive merchandise, corporate gifts, promotional products, retail, or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Well versed in Mandarin (Spoken & written) as need to liase with China supplier.
