Job summary

Randstad in Johor is seeking a Purchasing Executive to drive end-to-end procurement for maritime operations, securing technical spare parts, equipment, and services essential to vessels and port activities.

You will request quotes, negotiate terms, issue POs, and track deliveries to meet dockside deadlines, while evaluating vendor performance and maintaining accurate procurement records in compliance with maritime safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
• 2-4 years of procurement experience within maritime, shipping, shipyard, or offshore technical sectors.
• Strong vendor negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, AMOS).
• Based in or willing to work in Johor.
