Job summary

Unicorn Insulations, based in Puncak Alam, Selangor, seeks a proactive Purchasing Executive to lead end-to-end procurement for our manufacturing operations. You will manage vendor relationships, source raw materials and equipment, and coordinate inventory to support production.

Mandatory Mandarin Chinese for liaising with suppliers in China, combined with fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, will enable effective cross-border sourcing and cost negotiation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent.
• Proven purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin Chinese is mandatory for liaison with China vendors.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: manage end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, packaging, consumables, spare parts, machinery and services.
• Supplier Management: evaluate performance and build local and international vendor networks; lead cost analyses.
• Inventory & Warehouse Coordination: coordinate with Warehouse/Production to maintain stock levels and support cycle counts.
• ERP Systems & Process Improvement: maintain master data accuracy and contribute to ERP implementation in H2-2026.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align purchasing workflows with Engineering, Quality, and Finance; support new product sourcing.
