Job summary

Kanry Search in Johor is seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to drive procurement activities, manage supplier relations, and coordinate end-to-end purchasing processes.

You will monitor inventories, negotiate terms, track market trends in steel and metal, and support pricing for quotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Experience in international sourcing and supplier management is required.
• Candidates with strong hands-on procurement experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of LC and international payment terms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier coordination, purchasing, and order follow-up.
• Communicate with local and international suppliers on shipment arrangements, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Inventory team to ensure timely purchasing decisions.
• Track market trends and stay updated on metal pricing movements.
• Provide updated pricing information to support accurate customer quotations.
• Support the Head of Purchasing on procurement activities and other assigned tasks.
