Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Purchasing/Procurement professional to evaluate suppliers, process PRs and POs, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Planning and Finance, compare quotations, and maintain accurate procurement records while building strong supplier relationships to support manufacturing operations. The role offers training, exposure to procurement operations, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, components, and services.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delivery issues.
• Compare quotations and recommend cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Planning, and Finance departments on procurement requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
