Job summary

Ctrm Aerosystems in Malaysia is seeking a procurement specialist to manage Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and RFQs, ensuring timely processing and policy compliance. The role includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers and supporting supplier selection.

You will negotiate pricing and delivery terms, monitor deliveries, expedite critical orders, and collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics and Program Management to resolve procurement issues and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage PRs, POs, and RFQs with timely processing and policy compliance.
• Source and evaluate suppliers; support supplier selection.
• Monitor deliveries, expedite critical orders, and resolve supply issues.
• Track supplier performance and drive improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Coordinate SCR/ECN changes and manage inventory transitions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and PM to resolve issues.
• Prepare procurement and supplier performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and procedures.

Job description

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing in manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and ERP/MRP systems.

Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Request for Quotations (RFQs), ensuring timely processing and compliance with company policies.

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and support supplier selection.

Monitor supplier deliveries, expedite critical orders, and resolve supply issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Track and improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness through regular reviews and follow-up actions.

Assess supplier capacity, identify supply risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity.

Coordinate supplier-related engineering changes (SCR/ECN) and manage inventory transition to minimize obsolescence.

Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Program Management to support production and resolve procurement issues.

Prepare procurement and supplier performance reports for management review.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and procurement procedures.
