Job summary

Public Crane Heavy Equipment Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to support daily procurement and inventory coordination activities for crane, heavy lifting and transportation operations.

The role involves sourcing, purchasing and timely delivery of materials, with Mandarin communication required for suppliers and stakeholders in Telok Gong, Port Klang. Candidates should have at least 3 years of purchasing experience and be proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or related fields.
• Experience in heavy equipment, construction, engineering, transport or industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Mandarin communication with suppliers is required.
• Proficient with MS Office and familiar with ERP/purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate with suppliers for spare parts and operational materials.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and quotations comparisons.
• Monitor order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
• Coordinate with suppliers, workshop, operations, and internal departments on purchasing needs.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier database.
• Support procurement reports and cost-control initiatives.

Public Crane Heavy Equipment Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to support our daily procurement and inventory coordination activities. This role is essential in ensuring timely sourcing, purchasing and delivery of materials, spare parts and operational supplies to support our crane, heavy lifting and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, compare and negotiate with suppliers for spare parts, tyres, wire ropes, lifting accessories, tools and other operational materials.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations comparisons and related procurement documents.
• Monitor order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply of goods.
• Liaise with suppliers, workshop, operations team and internal departments on purchasing requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database and documentation.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and support inventory control for critical operational items.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices and purchased items against purchase orders.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports and support cost control initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Minimum at least 3 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or related fields.
• Experience in heavy equipment, construction, engineering, transport or industrial sectors is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of spare parts or fleet-related purchasing will be preferred.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang.
