Job summary

Tidy Locks & Fittings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to oversee direct overseas purchases (including Ningbo) and local procurement. The role involves issuing purchase orders, organizing transportation and import shipments, coordinating local collections, monitoring deliveries, and performing price checks.

Job description

Responsible for managing direct overseas purchases, including Ningbo and local purchases, as well as indirect materials.

Duties include issuing purchase orders, arranging transportation and import shipments, coordinating local collections, monitoring deliveries, and conducting price checks and comparisons.

Responsible for new supplier registration, maintaining the Supplier Master List, following up on supplier quality issues, and ensuring proper matching of PO, DO, and invoices.

Handle TT/LC arrangements, customs duties and taxes, customs clearance, and shipment cost comparisons.

Monitor ocean freight and shipment rates, prepare purchasing reports, and perform other duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
