Job summary

Tidy Group of Companies in Malaysia seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage direct overseas purchases (Ningbo and local) and indirect material, issue PO's, arrange transport and import shipments, and monitor deliveries.

You will conduct price checks, register new suppliers, maintain the Supplier Master List, follow up on supplier quality issues, ensure PO/DO/invoice matching, handle TT/LC, customs duties, clearance, and compare shipment costs.

Responsibilities

• Issuing purchase orders, arranging transportation and import shipments, coordinating local collections, monitoring deliveries, and conducting price checks and comparisons.
• New supplier registration, maintaining the Supplier Master List, following up on supplier quality issues, and ensuring proper matching of PO, DO, and invoices.
• Handle TT/LC arrangements, customs duties and taxes, customs clearance, and shipment cost comparisons.
• Monitor ocean freight and shipment rates, prepare purchasing reports, and perform other duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
