Job summary

Banafee Jalan Ampang is seeking a Procurement/ Purchasing professional in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves coordinating purchasing activities, supplier liaison, and inventory control to support daily operations.

Candidates with a Diploma or Certificate in purchasing, procurement, or related fields and 1–2 years of experience are preferred; fresh graduates may also be considered. ERP/POS exposure is a plus.

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Experience

• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related position.
• Experience in the F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or retail industry will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using purchasing, inventory, POS, ERP, or accounting systems is an advantage (especially Zeoniq POS system and SQL Accounting system)
• Basic understanding of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery orders, and inventory documentation.
• Good numerical and data-entry skills.

Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures.
• Understanding of supplier sourcing and quotation comparison.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Knowledge of F&B products and supplies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian food safety and halal requirements is an advantage.
