Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

About the Role

E-rete (Malaya) Sdn. Bhd. is a well-established manufacturer in the precast concrete industry. We are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented Purchaser to independently manage the company's purchasing and procurement function.

This is a standalone role where you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all materials required for production and daily operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage all purchasing and procurement activities for the company.

Source and purchase raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and other operational requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.

Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.

Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain accurate procurement records.

Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate purchases to ensure sufficient stock levels.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues.

Verify received materials and ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and ISO requirements.

Work closely with Production, Logistics, and Accounts to support daily operations.

Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry is an advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Well-organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
