Job summary

KPIS SDN BHD is seeking a Purchaser & Sales Coordinator to source materials, purchase, and coordinate sales and delivery activities. You will support site operations, liaise with customers and suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.

The role requires a Diploma or higher qualification and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills and knowledge of customs documentation. English and Bahasa Melayu proficiency is expected.

• 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, sales, or related experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of customs documentation is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the pipe industry.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external goods deliveries for Site Work.
• Source materials and obtain competitive pricing for trading and project requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and delivery arrangements.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet project and customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Negotiate pricing, product quality, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Source and develop new suppliers and business opportunities.
• Assist in stock take and inventory control.
• Handle customer service and procurement-related matters.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

The Purchaser & Sales Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, coordinating sales and delivery activities, and supporting daily Site work operations. The role works closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, cost-effective purchasing, and smooth business operations. Experience in Hardware Store is an added advantage.
