Job summary

SEA Gamer Mall Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement professional to manage card purchases across multiple countries and suppliers. The role involves processing POs, monitoring card-related issues, and ensuring spend stays within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Business, Purchasing, or Supply Chain, with 1+ year of relevant experience. Strong Excel skills and excellent supplier communication are required.

Job description

This role involves managing card purchases across assigned countries and suppliers, monitoring card-related issues, and sourcing the best available deals from multiple suppliers. You will process purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, and track purchasing expenses to ensure they remain within budget.

Key responsibilities

Manage card purchases across assigned countries and suppliers based on HOD allocation

Monitor and manage card-related issues, including liaising with the fraud support team when necessary

Compare prices from multiple suppliers and source the best available deals

Process purchase orders and update purchase records on the SEAGM platform once payment has been made

Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and vendors

Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock and minimize overstock or out-of-stock situations

Track and manage purchasing expenses to ensure they are within the allocated budget

Assist with onboarding and sourcing new products/cards

Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, product quality, reliability, and service

Follow up with suppliers or publishers to resolve card-related issues and identify alternative solutions when necessary

About you

Diploma or Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field

At least 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with relevant experience or internship may also be considered)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with suppliers and internal teams

Basic understanding of purchasing, price comparison, and cost management

Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Good research skills and the ability to gather information from online sources and compare products or suppliers

Basic understanding of inventory management and stock planning

Able to work independently and make practical decisions when handling purchasing or supplier-related issues

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
