Job summary

Insafoam Insulation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer of PU panels and insulation systems, seeks an experienced Production/Factory Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing activities in our Selangor facility. You will coordinate production planning, ensure quality, safety and cost control, lead Supervisors and technicians, and implement continuous improvement.

Experience in metal/plastic manufacturing and familiarity with DOSH/JKKP compliance is preferred; ISO 9001:2000

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure products are completed according to customer requirements and delivery timelines
• Ensure production targets, product quality and operational efficiency are consistently achieved
• Monitor raw material consumption, production wastage and manufacturing costs, and implement appropriate cost-control measures
• Coordinate closely with Production, Project, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, Maintenance, Sales and Management
• Ensure machinery and production equipment are properly maintained and preventive maintenance schedules are implemented
• Establish and improve factory procedures, production processes and workflow to increase productivity and efficiency
• Ensure all products meet required quality specifications and company/customer standards
• Monitor workers' attendance, discipline, productivity and performance in coordination with HR
• Ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP, environmental, safety and other applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized factory environment and enforce workplace safety requirements
• Lead, supervise and develop production supervisors, technicians, operators and general workers
• Investigate production issues, machinery breakdowns, quality problems and operational delays, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Prepare and present production, manpower, efficiency, downtime, wastage and other relevant factory reports to Management
