Job summary

Knauf Insulation Sdn. Bhd. is establishing a new plant in Malaysia to meet growing demand for Mineral Wool insulation across Asia Pacific, located at Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang in southern Johor.

The site aims for 60,000 tonnes per year, with state-of-the-art technology and ECOSE technology in production. The role focuses on safely directing a production crew to achieve Knauf specifications. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma and 5+ years as a line leader or supervisor, capable of leading

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• At least 5 years of experience as Line Leader / Supervisor.
• Supervisory skills required.
• Preferably specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• Able to work in shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skill.
• Ability to manage stress strongly.

Responsibilities

• Operate a safe department with your crew
• Produce high quality products that meet Knauf specifications
• Meet production standards established for each given product
• Maintain excellent housekeeping on your shift
• Treat every employee with dignity and respect
• Ensure the safety of everyone on their crew during their shift, including communicating safe work habits daily and leading by example
• Communicate with the off-going shift before starting your shift and with the oncoming shift at the end of your shift
• Review production schedules and make sure that the proper people are assigned to the appropriate job tasks
• Direct the efforts of all production employees on your crew
• Monitor operating performance of equipment and contact maintenance for needed repairs or adjustments
