Job summary

EPS Consultants in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the overall factory operations, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.

Key duties include developing and implementing operations strategies, capacity planning, factory layout optimisation, capital projects, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, and QA to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related disciplines required.
• 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, preferably electronics manufacturing.
• Proven track record in cross-functional teams and large-scale production environment.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operations strategies to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
• Translate business goals into actionable plans for manufacturing, logistics, and resource management.
• Lead and manage capacity planning, factory layout optimisation, and capital investment projects.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct periodic audits on the various departments.
• Monitor production KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Manage and ensure Production and Engineering collaborate to support NPI.
• Manage procurement, inventory control, and logistics to support smooth material flow.
• Work with Supply Chain and Sales to optimise performance and minimise lead time.
