Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to prepare detailed aircraft maintenance schedules and advise on spares based on scheduling. You will assist the Planning Manager with data gathering for reports on progress of maintenance planning, resource acquisition, and spares tracking.

You will develop detailed preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensure resources are available, and maintain records for reliability analysis and future planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed aircraft maintenance schedules for subsequent aircraft.
• Advise Logistics Planner on spares requirements based on scheduling.
• Assist the Planning Manager with data gathering for generating reports on the progress of maintenance planning, resource acquisition, spares tracking, etc.
• Developing detailed plans and schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This includes determining the scope of work, resources needed, and timelines for completion.
• Ensuring that all necessary resources (personnel, tools, materials, and equipment) are available and allocated appropriately for maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance data for tracking trends, analyzing equipment reliability, and planning future maintenance.
• Ensuring that maintenance staff are adequately trained and skilled to perform their tasks and liaise Training Department to facilitate skill development as required.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in maintenance processes and practices to increase efficiency, reduce downtime by adopting new technologies or methodologies.
