Job summary

G-Cast Concrete Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance planning, supervise technical staff, and ensure smooth plant operations at our Kulai facility. You will drive preventive maintenance programs and monitor projects to meet timelines.

You will manage spare parts inventory, implement best practices, and ensure safety regulations are followed, with opportunities for professional growth within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and able to lead by example.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Attend any production equipment breakdown when required.
• Ensure maintenance staff acquires technical skills so that the maintenance jobs are carried out according to the best practice standard.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to by all maintenance staff at all times.
• Other task assigned by management from time to time.
