Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee preventive maintenance planning for all machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include electrical repairs, wiring projects for production and facilities, contractor supervision, sourcing parts, and maintaining tools. The role supports ISO 9001 and other quality standards, contributing to a compliant, efficient manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for regular preventive maintenance planning; including mechanical and electrical of all machines to ensure no downtime.
• Handling basic electrical repairs, electrical wiring projects, machine wiring, and re-wiring for production, office, truck and facility equipment.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Make recommendations, source, and purchase necessary accessories for immediate repair work.
• Register and control the tools & equipment in the production floor, to ensure the tools and equipment are in good condition.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be needed or assigned by superior from time to time.
• Promote ISO 9001, other relevant quality, product standard and certification maintained by company.
