Job summary

Lintasan Resources Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a PROTÉGÉ - CIVIL ENGINEER to assist the Operations Department with road maintenance supervision and infrastructure-related activities. You will support site inspections, maintenance coordination, reporting and ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation, with travel to project sites as required.

The role welcomes fresh graduates and values knowledge of road construction, JKR specifications, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and BEM registration.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in road maintenance or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of road construction, pavement, drainage and infrastructure works.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and coordinating road maintenance and infrastructure works to ensure compliance with JKR specifications and concession requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor routine, periodic and emergency maintenance works.
• Assist in monitoring subcontractors' work progress and verifying completed works against approved specifications.
• Prepare and maintain site inspection reports, work progress updates and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with JKR, relevant authorities, subcontractors and internal departments on maintenance-related matters.
• Assist in monitoring work quantities, actual site progress and providing relevant information to the QS team.
• Support the implementation of the Company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior or Management.

JOB SUMMARY
