Job summary

Lintasan Resources Sdn Bhd seeks a Civil Engineering professional to lead project works programmes and ensure quality compliance with client specifications. You will report progress to the Head Office Operations Department and coordinate meetings as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising sub-contractors’ programmes for compliance, maintaining on-site progress records for ISO 9001:2015 audits, and coordinating with authorities while disseminating information to the quantity surveyor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building/Construction or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in infrastructure construction preferred.
• Knowledge of structural, civil, and utility works.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Own transport and based in Tawau.

Job description

Responsible for the entire project in respect of works programme and quality compliance with Client’s specifications.

Responsible for the reporting to Head Office’s Operations Department on work progress and to co-ordinate meetings, when necessary.

Responsible for checking/supervising of sub-contractors’ works programme to ensure that work done is in compliance with the required specifications and to verify their progress claims.

Responsible for all works progress data records and to ensure compilation and distribution, for the purpose of ISO9001:2015 operational audit.

Responsible for the co-ordination with the relevant authority on works and to maintain good rapport with the same.

Responsible for the dissemination all the required information, quantity and actual progress on site to the QS in compliance with quality objectives.

Responsible for understand and implement ISO 9001:2015 QMS and shall provide leadership per Clause 5.1 and comply specifically Clauses 7, 8, 9 & 10 in respect of the Company’s core business activity.

To carry out any other assignments/tasks as instructed by higher authority.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building/Construction or related field.
• Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the infrastructure aspect of the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of structural, civil, and utility works.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess own transport and willing to be based in Tawau.
