Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Penang is seeking a Property Officer to support daily FM operations across campus. You will assist the Facilities Manager, manage term contracts, and oversee Soft FM services including cleaning, pest control, and landscaping.

You will supervise on-site contractors, ensure safety and ISO compliance, compile monthly/incident reports, and maintain clear records to uphold service quality and timely response to tenant needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Facility Management / Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Plan, organise and supervise a team of contractors for maintenance work.
• 2+ years of relevant facility management experience.
• Excellent communication across levels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager in daily operations.
• Renew contracts and maintain records.
• Plan and execute Soft FM maintenance and services.
• Supervise term contractors and conduct on-site inspections.
• Ensure campus quality and compliance with ISO procedures.
• Coordinate safety and health standards and promote a safe work culture.
• Prepare monthly and incident reports for the site.
• Source, negotiate, and follow up with contractors for repairs and replacements.
• Raise contractor requisitions for ad hoc and term contractors.
• Maintain client requests via the online helpdesk.
