Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in property, real estate, site acquisition, leasing, or related fields.
• Experience in the telecommunication/tower infrastructure industry is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to travel frequently for site visits and meetings.

Job description

This role involves identifying and securing suitable locations for tower construction. You will conduct site assessments, negotiate with landowners, and coordinate with government authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits. The position requires frequent travel to visit potential sites and meet with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Identify potential sites that meet technical, business, and regulatory requirements

Conduct site visits to check accessibility, land conditions, and network coverage

Evaluate locations based on factors like signal strength, land suitability, and cost

Ensure the site complies with zoning laws and local council regulations

Approach landowners to discuss leasing or purchasing land for tower construction

Negotiate lease agreements, rental rates, and contract terms

Obtain approvals from relevant authorities including Land Office, Local Council, and regulatory bodies such as MCMC, CAAM, TNB, and BOMBA

Prepare and submit required documents including Letter of Intent, Tenancy Agreement, Consent Letters, Technical Proposal, and Letter of Offer

Work closely with technical teams, engineers, and consultants

Visit potential sites to assess land suitability and meet landowners for negotiations

About you

Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Property Development or Real Estate Management

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in property, real estate, site acquisition, leasing, or related fields

Experience in the telecommunication/tower infrastructure industry is an added advantage

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English

Strong knowledge and competency in related areas

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willing to travel frequently for site visits and meetings
