TIMES REAL ESTATE SDN.BHD. is seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to identify and secure hotel-style apartment properties for managed services.

You will build relationships with property owners, landlords, agents and developers to present our management solutions and expand the portfolio. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will research rental trends and high-potential locations, arrange meetings and site visits, and support negotiations and onboarding with internal teams.

Formación

• 1–2 years in property acquisition or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to approach new prospects and develop business opportunities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with Malaysian property market is a plus.
• Own transport and willingness to travel for meetings.

• Reach out to property owners, landlords, agents, and developers to introduce the company’s management solutions
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of property acquisition opportunities
• Conduct market research on rental trends, competitor activities, supply, and high-potential locations
• Arrange and conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits with prospective property partners
• Support commercial discussions, negotiations, and proposal preparation
• Work closely with internal teams to assess property suitability and onboarding requirements
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, negotiations, and acquisition progress
• Contribute to achieving company portfolio expansion and business growth targets

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in property acquisition, business development, real estate, hospitality, or related industries
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Confident in approaching new prospects and developing business opportunities
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with the Malaysian property market will be an added advantage
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for meetings and site visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing with property owners, landlords, agents, developers, or serviced apartment / hospitality partners
• Candidates with an existing network, property portfolio, or proven property leads will have an added advantage
• Exposure to managed properties, short-stay accommodation, serviced apartments, or hospitality-related business development is preferred
