Job summary

Bond M & E Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Site Engineer to support project delivery across our mechanical and engineering works in Malaysia. You will assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer to ensure deliverables are met and coordinate trades to keep activities aligned with drawing specifications.

The role requires leadership, strong BM and English, and the ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or degree required or related experience.
• PW4 certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to lead and supervise site works.
• Strong BM and English language skills.
• People skills to liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager & Project Engineer to meet project deliverables.
• Coordinate trades and raise discrepancies to superiors.
• Ensure installations conform to specifications and drawings.
• Inspect installations with client and consultant representatives.
• Regularly monitor site progress and update the project team.
• Attend meetings and site coordination with clients, consultants, and other trades.
• Maintain subcontractor management on site and resolve obstacles or issues.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by the superior.

Job description

Diploma/Degree in any Engineering Discipline or experience in the related field

Having PW4 certification is added advantage and will be prioritised

Able to lead and supervise site works

Good command of BM and English

Sociable and approachable for all stakeholders

Tasks & responsibilities

Assist Project Manager & Project Engineer in ensuring the project deliverables are met

Ensure the coordination between all the trades are carried out diligently and to raise the discrepancies to the superiors

Ensure all the installation done on the site are conforming to the specification and drawing required

Ensure all the installation are inspected with the client & consultant representatives

To regular monitor the site progress and update such status back to the project team

To attend the meeting and site coordination with all related parties ie. Client, Consultant, Other Trades and etc

Ensure the subcontractor management on site is kept in good order and immediately resolve any obstacles or situation faced by them

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior
