Job summary

Sum Technic Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Supervisor (MEPF) based in KL/Selangor, Johor, Penang to oversee daily M&E site activities and ensure works are carried out safely, on schedule and to drawings and specs.

You will supervise coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, inspect workmanship, and assist in testing and handover. Diploma or certificate in related fields is required; 1–3 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services or related field.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read M&E systems and basic site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily M&E installation works on site.
• Monitor progress to ensure schedules are met.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure works align with drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain workmanship quality.

Job Overview
To supervise daily M&E site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily M&E installation works on site.

Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules are met.

Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Conduct site inspections and maintain workmanship quality.

Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Monitor manpower attendance, productivity, and site discipline.

Report site progress, technical issues, delays, and material shortages.

Assist in testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover activities.

Maintain proper site records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related fields.

1 – 3 years' experience in M&E construction or building services projects.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

Basic knowledge of M&E systems and site safety requirements.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
