Job summary

WKF Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project planning, cost control and value engineering on construction projects in Malaysia. You will prepare take-offs, monitor expenditures and work with site teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of QS experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Travel to project sites may be required.

• Proficient in cost planning and cost control.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project planning, budgets and procurement strategies.
• Work with senior management on cost optimization and profitability.
• Prepare measurements, take-offs, quotations and cost estimates.
• Monitor project expenditure, wastage and variations.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and schedules.
• Oversee progress, quality inspections and handovers and address challenges.
