Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification.
• Membership or eligibility with a professional body (RICS/AIQS or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Proficient with cost estimation software, BIM tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender docs.
• Monitor expenditure and maintain cost control across phases.
• Analyse contract variations, change orders, and claims.
• Conduct site inspections and verify work quality.
• Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for managers/clients.
• Manage subcontractor quotations and procurement processes.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants on costs.
• Maintain project documentation and cost records.
• Provide cost management and value-engineering advice.
