Job summary

Truwater Malaysia is seeking a Project Planner to support project execution from kickoff to delivery. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and external project management to ensure smooth project flow and alignment with client requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing and updating schedules, tracking progress with internal teams and suppliers, and maintaining project documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in related project planner, factory planner, project engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
• Basic understanding of project management and execution processes.
• Knowledge of MS Excel or any project tracking tools.
• Familiarity with project documentation and reporting.
• Good coordination skills with internal teams and external colleagues.
• Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Assist in preparing and updating project schedules.

Track project progress with internal departments, suppliers (only applicable for our HQ's factory) and report status to superior and client (Business Units).

Identify potential delays and support corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

Assist in submission of progress reports.

Maintain proper filing for project tracking and audit purposes.

Other Responsibilities

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior or management.

Job Requirements

2-3 years of experience in related project planner, factory planner, project engineering, construction, or industrial projects.

Experience in cooling towers, or engineering projects is an advantage.

Basic understanding of project management and execution processes.

Knowledge of MS Excel or any project tracking tools.

Familiarity with project documentation and reporting.

Good coordination skills with internal teams and external colleagues.

Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Willing to learn and take guidance from senior team members.

Organized, detail-oriented, responsible and proactive.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good team player.

Able to communicate and write effectively in English and Chinese as need to deal with clients from China.
