Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop a project master schedule aligned with proposal and project requirements using Primavera P6 and MS Project. You will update schedules, revise work sequences, and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for clients.

Responsibilities include extracting data from drawings and BOQ to produce activity sequencing, resource charts and S-curves, and maintaining an automated progress-monitoring database with formulas and conditional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of working experience in a related field with at least 3 years in Planning.
• Experience with project management consultancies (PMC) preferred.

• Monitor and propose mitigation for KPI and lookahead.
• Perform any other duties directed by the Superior.

• Developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal/project requirements in Primavera P6 software & MS Project.
• Assist in updating and modifying schedules based on revising work sequence.
• Updating and preparing weekly and monthly progress reports for clients.
• Ensure proper documentation & filling in the submission of submittals.
• Extract information from Drawings and Bill of Quantities to produce activity productivity, activity sequencing, Resource Chart and S-Curve
• Prepare database for progress monitoring which are highly automated, user friendly with abundant use of formulae and conditional formatting
• Monitor and propose mitigation for KPI and lookahead.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Superior.

Requirements;

• Bachelor’s degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), or equivalent.
• 3-6 year(s) of working experience in a related field is required with at least 3 years in Planning.
• Experienced in working with project management consultancies (PMC)
• Good knowledge of the construction methodologies in Engineering Civil / Construction / Structural
• Data Centre Project Experience is Preferred
• Experienced in the operating Primavera P6 software
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team atmosphere
