Jora Malaysia is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and monitor project schedules, create baselines, and ensure milestone achievement. You will prepare WBS, resource plans, and progress updates while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep activities aligned with the approved timetable.
The role requires 3–5 years in construction scheduling, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, including baseline programmes, recovery programmes, and progress updates.
Prepare and update Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, and resource plans to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, analyze delays, and recommend recovery plans where necessary.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure project activities are executed according to the approved schedule.
Prepare and present project progress reports, look-ahead schedules, S-curves, and project planning presentations.
Support tender and pre-construction planning by reviewing project requirements, construction sequences, and programme schedules.
Monitor project performance against the approved schedule and provide planning support to ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure all planning activities comply with contractual requirements, project objectives, and company procedures.
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and sequencing within the construction industry.
Familiar with project lifecycle, planning frameworks, and preparation of baseline programmes and reports.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
