Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed project timelines using MS Project. You will monitor progress, coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors, and analyse critical paths to mitigate delays.

The role requires strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with at least five years in construction planning. You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and report to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project; knowledge of Primavera P6 is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, project scheduling, and critical path analysis.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

• Attend progress meetings and present schedule updates and issues.
• Conduct schedule and delay analysis to support EOT assessments.

Develop, maintain, and update the overall project schedule using Microsoft Project.

Monitor project progress and ensure schedules accurately reflect site activities and project milestones.

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather progress updates and ensure schedule alignment.

Track project performance against the approved baseline programme and identify critical path activities, potential delays, and scheduling risks.

Prepare look-ahead schedules and recommend recovery or mitigation plans to minimise project delays.

Coordinate manpower planning, material delivery schedules, and construction sequencing to support project execution.

Prepare monthly progress reports, project status updates, and scheduling analyses for management and clients.

Maintain accurate project planning documentation, including baseline schedules, revised programmes, and delay records.

Attend progress meetings and present project schedule updates, key milestones, and critical issues.

Conduct schedule and delay analysis to support project planning, progress monitoring, and extension of time (EOT) assessments where required.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
