Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites applications for a project planner/coordinator role to support end-to-end project delivery. The candidate will coordinate across engineering, procurement, and external management teams to ensure smooth project flow and compliance with client requirements.

The role requires 2-3 years of related experience, familiarity with Excel and project-tracking tools, and strong communication skills in English and Chinese as needed to liaise with China-based clients.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in related project planner, factory planner, project engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
• Experience in cooling towers, or engineering projects is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of project management and execution processes.
• Familiarity with project documentation and reporting.
• Good coordination skills with internal teams and external colleagues.
• Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from kick-off to completion of delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and external project management to ensure smooth project flow.
• Ensure project activities align with specifications and client requirements.
• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules.
• Track project progress with internal departments, suppliers and report status to superior and client.
• Identify potential delays and support corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
• Assist in submission of progress reports.
• Maintain proper filing for project tracking and audit purposes.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior or management.
