Job summary

Truwater in Malaysia is seeking a Project Planner to support execution from kick-off to delivery, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and external project management to ensure smooth project flow. You will track progress with internal teams and suppliers, maintain documentation, and help prepare progress reports.

Knowledge of MS Excel and project tracking tools is required. 2-3 years in related roles; familiarity with cooling towers or engineering projects is a plus; you must be able to

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in related project planning, factory planning, project engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
• Experience with cooling towers or engineering projects is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of project management and execution processes.
• Knowledge of MS Excel or other project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Schedule Monitoring

Assist in preparing and updating project schedules.

Track project progress with internal departments, suppliers (only applicable for our HQ's factory) and report status to superior and client (Business Units).

Identify potential delays and support corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

Assist in submission of progress reports.

Maintain proper filing for project tracking and audit purposes.

Other Responsibilities

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior or management.

Job Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in related project planner, factory planner, project engineering, construction, or industrial projects.

Experience in cooling towers, or engineering projects is an advantage.

Basic understanding of project management and execution processes.

Knowledge of MS Excel or any project tracking tools.

Familiarity with project documentation and reporting.

Good coordination skills with internal teams and external colleagues.

Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Willing to learn and take guidance from senior team members.
