Job summary

KIDE INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking a planning-focused professional to develop and maintain baseline construction schedules in collaboration with the Construction Manager. You will monitor progress, prepare weekly reports, and coordinate with project teams to identify risks and address scheduling issues.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Engineering or Construction Management degree with 1–3 years of planning experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project, plus strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/related field or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in construction planning with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing for industrial buildings.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline construction schedules with PM.
• Monitor progress and prepare weekly reports as scheduled.
• Coordinate with PMs, site teams and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues.
• Review subcontractors’ baseline schedules and resource plans.
• Support management with other duties as assigned.

Job description

Proficient in project planning and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other relevant planning tools effectively.

Develop and maintain baseline construction schedules in collaboration with the Construction Manager, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.

Monitor project progress and prepare weekly progress reports in accordance with the established reporting schedule.

Participate in project coordination meetings with Project Managers, site teams, and subcontractors to identify potential risks, address scheduling issues, and highlight delays or areas requiring improvement.

Gather and review subcontractors’ baseline schedules, manpower allocations, and equipment deployment plans, integrating them into the master project schedule for effective monitoring and control.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time in support of project objectives.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 1-3 years in construction with planning experience with Primavera 6 or MS Project.

Knowledge and experience in construction methodologies and sequencing, particularly for industrial building projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required language: English. Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage.
