Job summary

Superb Impression Creationz Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and update the overall project schedule using MS Project, ensuring site activities and milestones are reflected accurately.

You will coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors, track progress against baseline, prepare look-ahead schedules and monthly reports, and maintain baseline and delay records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project (MS Project); knowledge of Primavera P6 is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, project scheduling, and critical path analysis.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the overall project schedule using Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress and ensure schedules accurately reflect site activities and project milestones.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather progress updates and ensure schedule alignment.
• Track project performance against the approved baseline programme and identify critical path activities, potential delays, and scheduling risks.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and recommend recovery or mitigation plans to minimise project delays.
• Coordinate manpower planning, material delivery schedules, and construction sequencing to support project execution.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, project status updates, and scheduling analyses for management and clients.
• Maintain accurate project planning documentation, including baseline schedules, revised programmes, and delay records.
• Attend progress meetings and present project schedule updates, key milestones, and critical issues.
• Conduct schedule and delay analysis to support project planning, progress monitoring, and extension of time (EOT) assessments where required.
