Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an experienced Project Manager for office, commercial, or industrial construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves coordinating with architects and engineers, planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management across the project lifecycle.

Candidates should have 8–12 years in project management or construction, with strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and the ability to travel to sites. Data centre experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of project management or construction experience.
• Background in engineering, construction, or project management preferred.
• Experience in office, commercial, industrial, or similar construction projects.
• Data centre experience preferred but is not required.
• Strong stakeholder, contractor, and consultant management skills.
• Familiarity with design, tendering, and construction delivery processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to travel frequently to project sites.
• Must possess full Malaysian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects and engineers during the design phase of workplace and infrastructure projects
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management activities
• Assist in tender preparation, contractor evaluation, and procurement processes
• Liaise with general contractors and project consultants throughout project delivery
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and project milestones
• Support office fit-out and building construction activities from start to completion
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are maintained
• Participate in client meetings and provide project status updates
• Manage project risks and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
