Job summary

MN POWER TRANSMISSION is expanding its team for utility services construction work, including substation projects. We seek a capable engineer to liaise with TNB, clients, consultants and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project operation and timely delivery.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. The ideal candidate will hold an Engineering degree with at least five years of project experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Project) with knowledge of AutoCAD being an asset.

Qualifications

• Possess Degree in Engineering from recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years project experience construction/substation projects.
• Liaison with TNB/Clients/Consultant/Subcontractors to ensure smooth operation of the project.
• Communicate with purchasing team for any item/material required for project.
• Monitor and ensure the project run smoothly and meets the target deadline.
• Attend Site Meeting and Progress meeting with TNB/Client/Subcontractor/Consultant
• Able to work independently and with team with leadership and management skills.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office including Project, AutoCAD will be added advantage,
• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Able to works under pressure and tight timeline

Responsibilities

• Liaise with TNB/clients/consultants/subcontractors to ensure smooth operation of the project.
• Attend Site and Progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with purchasing for materials required.
• Lead and manage project team as needed.
