Job summary

TransSystem Continental Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead electrical substation and transmission project activities, ensuring timelines and technical specs are met. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and a minimum of two years’ civil construction experience. Travel across sites and a one-year contract are expected.

EITA Resources Berhad acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) on 2016. TSC is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our project team. You will be responsible for the project management and execution works at site are in accordance to technical specification to ensure TNB schedule within the timeline.

What will you be doing?

Involve in power and water utilities projects, protection relay and control panels for substations.

Implementation, coordination and execution of transmission substation projects.

Submission of equipment document for approval, coordinate manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and delivery.

Prepare monthly project progress report, site work method of statement, site meetings, site coordination and supervision during installation, testing and commission.

Setting up and maintaining project management plan, resource management, contract deliverables and management and accountable for AQ/OC Management and quality control on site.

Monitoring of work progress, project interfaces coordination, document and correspondence management and attend monthly progress meetings.

Management of construction material production facilities, management of plant and procurement schedules and management of supplies, stockpiles and warehousing.

Are you the one?

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction related or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure project, to be eligible for RAA training requirement.

Working experience in TNB project management experience.

Possess own transport, willingness to travel and work at different sites as required.

1 year contract and renewable based on business needs or performance.

Strong leadership and project management skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to provide solutions for problem-solving.

Willing to work occasionally on Saturday based on TNB requirement.

Willing to accept contract term until April 2027.
