Job summary

ST POWER ELECTRIC SDN BHD is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering) to join its team in Malaysia. You will participate in tender submissions, project planning and execution, and help ensure project progress and performance while coordinating with stakeholders and managing resources.

The role requires a degree in engineering, experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project with implementation experience.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in cabling and electrical works; familiarity with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender submission, project planning, execution, and contracting/terms & conditions.
• Monitor local project progress and financial performance.
• Present at weekly project progress meetings.
• Review mechanical and electrical shop drawings in AutoCAD and BIM.
• Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and project developers.
• Identify and manage resources, schedules and budgets.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as required.

• Project Participation: Engage in tender submission, project planning, execution, and T&C.
• Progress Monitoring: Track local project progress and financial performance.
• Meeting Presentations: Present in weekly project progress meetings.
• Drawing Review: Review mechanical and electrical services shop drawings in AutoCAD and BIM.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with governmental agencies, consultants, and project developers.
• Resource Management: Identify and manage necessary resources, including engineering standards, project schedules, and budgets.
• Miscellaneous Duties: Perform various job-related tasks as required.
