Job summary

ROSADO TRADELINE Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end HV substation and electrical infrastructure projects in Malaysia, from planning through commissioning and handover. You will oversee schedules, budgets, and resources while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

The role requires 3–4 years of PM HV experience and a total of 10+ years in construction, with strong knowledge of TNB standards, IEC/IEEE, and Malaysian regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of PM HV substation or electrical infrastructure project experience.
• Total construction experience of at least 10 years.
• HV project experience (132kV+ preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian regulations, TNB standards, IEC/IEEE.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HV substation and electrical infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigations, and report to stakeholders.
• Ensure HSE compliance (DOSH, PTW) and promote on-site safety culture.
• Lead site teams and ensure interfacing between engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.

Lead end-to-end execution ofHV substation projects and electrical infrastructure projects (TNB and/or private clients)from planning through commissioning and handover.

Develop and manageproject execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationto ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Coordinate and liaise withclients (including TNB), consultants, contractors, and internal teamsto ensure smooth project execution and alignment of requirements.

Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implementeffective mitigation and recovery actionsto achieve project objectives.

Ensure full compliance withHSE requirements (DOSH, PTW system, company safety standards)and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Overseetechnical activities including design reviews, material approval, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Manageproject cost control, including budget tracking, variation orders (VO), forecasting, and financial reporting.

Ensure compliance withTNB technical standards, regulatory requirements, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications.

Prepare and submitproject progress reports, risk updates, and documentationto management and stakeholders.

Lead and supervise site teams includingengineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and performance.

Ensure effectiveinterfacing between engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning teams.

Foster a culture ofsafety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementacross project teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Must have at least 3 to 4 years of experience as a Project Manager leading substation or electrical infrastructure projects, and a minimum of 10 years of total experience in the construction industry.

Proven experience handlingHV projects (132kV and above preferred).

In-depth understanding of HV substation design, equipment, protection systems, construction practices, testing, and commissioning. Familiarity with Malaysian electrical regulations, TNB Technical Standards, and relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE).

Strong knowledge ofTNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements,Proven track record managing both TNB substation projects and/or consumer substation projects.

Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6), MS Office Suite, and document management systems.

Excellent project management, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills

Must willing to be relocated depending on the project location.
