Job summary

LGB Engineering Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Project Manager - Construction & Engineering (Contract) to lead project performance, scheduling, and team productivity while reporting progress to clients. The role requires ensuring work aligns with contracts, drawings, and quality standards.

You will monitor site valuations, coordinate with the Contract Department, and oversee project-wide monitoring and reporting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project, and Primavera P6 is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Able to work independently under pressure, with multiple demands and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project performance, progress claims, schedules, and team productivity; report progress to client.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with contracts and construction drawings, with respect to specs, quality and completion time.
• Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System Manual and the Project Plan (PQP) during construction.
• Attend site valuation and coordinate with Contract Department for related works.
• Oversee overall monitoring and reporting activities for the project.
• Monitor timely authority approvals for work permits.
• Assist in tender or business proposals including contract review, risk identification, outsourcing planning, and technical deliverables.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Project Manager - Construction & Engineering (Contract)

Monitoring project performance, progress claim, schedule, and team productivity, and report progress to client,

To ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contracts and the construction drawings in respect of the specifications, quality and time of completion.

To ensure that the company’s Quality Management System Manual and the Project Plan (PQP) are adhered to during construction works.

To attend to site valuation, to coordinate and follow up with Contract Department for any works to be carried out.

Overall monitoring and reporting activities for the Project.

To monitor timely authority approval for work permits.

In tender or business proposal, tasks include, but not limited to the following:

• Responsible for carry out contract review to ascertain Customer’s salient requirements.
• Responsible for risk identification / assessment and discuss with Management on appropriate controls.
• Responsible for planning of outsourcing strategy, work schedule, construction methodology, and preparation of technical deliverables.

Other tasks as and when assigned.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience.

Familiar with ACAD, BIM, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6

Able to work independently under pressure, handle multiple demands and meet deadlines.
