Job summary

Hwa Hwee Construction & Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate and manage projects from start to finish. You will oversee daily site activities and coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure timely delivery in line with drawings and specs.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Strong experience with main contractor projects.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects independently and priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Monitor subcontractors' performance, work progress, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available according to the project schedule
• Respond to client and consultant requirements professionally and in a timely manner

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Strong experience with main contractor projects
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction industry practices and contractual requirements
